My name is Craig Davis. My parents are “Doc” James and “Ginnie” Virginia Davis. I graduated Moriarty High School in 1987 and enlisted in the US. Army. While stationed in Germany, I met my wife, Heike. We have been married for 30 years and raised 3 children.
We came back to Moriarty to raise our children in 2001. I was hired with the Moriarty Police Department and worked for 10 years. I then went to City of Santa Fe Police Department and worked another 10 years. During my time with the Santa Fe Police Department, I promoted to the rank of Sergeant. I also became the Bomb Squad Commander for the last 6 years with Santa Fe Police Department and retired after 20 years of Law Enforcement.
When I enlisted in the US. Army, I went into Field Artillery. I was deployed to Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Operation Provide Comfort. After completing 12 years of active service, I had a break of service for 1 year. I then enlisted into the Army Reserve as a Para-Legal. During this enlistment I was deployed to Iraq for 1 year and numerous short deployments to Germany. I retired from the US Army Reserve with 23 years of service.
Serving my community is a sense of duty that I still have. I believe the best way to serve my community now is to give Torrance County a choice of a candidate who is honest, trustworthy and wants to keep this community safe. Torrance County Magistrate Judge is the only job that I know I can keep serving my community. With your help and vote, I will be the Judge you can count on.
I really love to watch college football games. When the weather is nice, my wife and I take the bike for an enjoyable ride.
